I will get even (even though it looks like God already took the first shot at it). I learned watching “Flipper”, as a kid, that sharks are sensitive around the head area – remember Flipper ramming rogue sharks..?

I don’t think karma caught the shark, although it a quaint idea and clever device used by fiction writers… But if we go along with your karma theme I was the primary karma-catalyst as the team captain my view of Chumpcar was this was going to be a party that also was going to have some driving thrown in… My whole goal was to have fun first and then race a little, So when it came tires… Why spend money on tires??? It a party! Throw some 2 year old street tires on and we’ll make it the whole time on one set! And lights what do we need lights for??? So when one of the drivers found some on ebay I said “Sure!” I just wanted the car to run for the 24 hours. A couple hours into the race I realized it was a race that had some themes hung on it… So the demise of Chump Shark was my fault…
